Yap & Learn: Having Boundaries in the Wild

$30.00

A drop-in capacity building workshop where I infodump one therapy skill, then we all yap about it.

You know your rights. You've mapped your boundaries. And now someone is standing right in front of you and you have to actually say/do the thing. This is that workshop!!

Because knowing you have a boundary and being able to communicate it in real life - calmly, clearly, without either caving or exploding - is a completely different skill. And most of us were never taught it.

Boundaries In The Wild is about what happens when theory meets real life.

We're covering the four communication styles using animals so you can figure out which one you are, which one tends to violate your boundaries, and which one you actually want to be. Then we're giving you a four part formula you can use in basically any boundary situation, ever. Plus a reality check on whether your boundaries are grounded, too selfless, or gone a bit too far (because we're all prone to going all or nothing, right?)

What we'll cover:
- The four communication styles: passive, aggressive, passive aggressive, and assertive with zero judgment about which one you are right now
- Why every style made sense as a survival strategy at some point
- How to know if your boundary is grounded and realistic, too selfless, or controlling
- The four part boundary script you can use in real life immediately
- Real wild boundary scenarios: family, friends, doctors, workplaces, strangers
- What to do when someone doesn't respect your boundary

Do I need to have done the other sessions?
Nope, this one works completely on its own. Drop in, get the tools, go practice on something small and safe. Even better if you have the theory from the other workshops but you'll be fine.

Who is this for?
Anyone who avoids boundary conversations until they explode. Anyone who says "it's fine" when it is absolutely not fine. Anyone who has tried to set a boundary and had no idea what to actually say. Anyone who wants to communicate like an eagle instead of a stressed out turtle.

This workshop is trauma-infored, queer and neurodivergent affirming and free spots are reserved for trans and gender diverse people and First Nations folk.
