Therapy can be as casual or as formal as you want it to be. You can come prepared with a list of things you want to discuss, or you can see where the journey takes us. It’s up to you. You may not even know what you need help with and you might just know that something’s feeling off. We can work with that too.
The struggles that you bring to therapy are never be too small or not worthy of speaking about - if it matters to you, it matters to me.
Clients always comments that I’m very chill and non-judgmental, even with things that they think will shock me that they’ve been working up the courage to tell me for ages!
The best work I do is relational. I summarise it as supporting you to understand your relationship with yourself, others, and the big scary world.
My areas of interest include:
Complex relational trauma
Chronic suicidality, self-harm, and complex risk
Survivors of domestic and sexual violence
Adult children of emotionally immature or unavailable parents
Transitioning from child safety systems to adulthood
Children of criminalised parents
People who are criminalised or at risk of criminalisation
Eating disorders, including avoidant/restrictive types
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)

Not every problem needs years of therapy. Sometimes you just need a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts about a situation including talking through your options, making a plan, or just making peace with what is or isn’t working.
This is short-term, practical, future & solution focused therapy (2–6 sessions) designed to help you:
Explore whether to stay, go, or change your perspective on a relationship, job, habit, or situation
Understand what’s really serving you and what’s holding you back
Make peace with your decision, whether it’s moving on or staying with boundaries in place
This therapy can be used to talk and plan through situations/people that are feel like they are no longer serving you, weighing you down, or just making you feel “off”.
Across 2–6 sessions, we:
Talk about your situation in a reflective, supportive way
Explore whether it aligns with your values and your vision for the future
Discuss needs, boundaries, and communication strategies
Make plans for coping after the decision
Come together to celebrate/process/cry/ cope/whatever you need
Please note: This is short-term therapy. If you need ongoing support, you will be referred on to one of my amazing colleagues with more availability + capacity to ensure you are well supported.

Is life feeling really muddled and you don’t know where to start to help make some progress? Do you constantly feel like you are in survival mode with no clear end in sight?
Case management is a great starting point. You tell me what’s going on and we come up with a plan to get through it. I may link you in with services I think would be helpful, or you may go out and complete tasks before the next session.
I feel like case management is the chance to pick my brain for every helpful contact and service I know of in Australia that can get you on the right track. There’s a lot of" “doing” in case management on both our ends. You often meet with a number of different organisations and professionals and I generally coordinate working together as a big team between all of us. It’s really effective in seeing change fast in crisis situations or other challenges where action needs to happen sooner rather than later. It’s also really good for accountability and reaching your goals in a supported way (if that’s what you need).
I have experience case managing clients with a variety of issues such as:
“Complex” mental and physical health challenges requiring hospital admissions and/or multidisciplinary team support
Support accessing NDIS and other government departments/assistance
Recovering from domestic and family violence
Changing careers or starting a new venture
School can’t/refusal
Young people transitioning from out-of-home care/detention

Are you a business owner or allied health professional looking to provide a queer and neurodivergent affirming service? That’s where I’d love to help!
If you’re a business owner, I’d love to help you maximize profitability and enjoyment of spaces for everyone, especially queer and neurodivergent people who often shop online or miss out altogether due to not feeling welcome, or the environment being too sensorily overwhelming. We can work on simple strategies and solutions to help you become more known to the queer and neurodivergent community for all the hard work you are putting into making your services and space welcoming and affirming to everyone.
Are you a professional or aspiring professional who works within the helping industry? I’d love to chat to you in a collegial way about workplace frustrations, workplace advocacy opportunities, burnout, self-care and work/life balance, and debriefing on particularly challenging cases/experiences you’ve had. I also know it can be isolating working in private practice or organisations where you are the sole allied health professional in your industry and I welcome sessions where you require a social work perspective on a particular client or problem you are facing in the workplace in general. I’m sure we can learn from each other.

I currently run a paid monthly online book club, Neuroqueer Book Club, where we read and discuss a book related to the neurodivergent experience.
I also host a free in-person Pop Culture Club for young people which has had numerous iterations over it’s 3 years of running! It’s not for the faint of heart, or young people who only want to focus on one topic because it’s very ADHD tangential and free-flowing. It’s a really good time though, and a great people watching experience too!
In the past, I have also done one-off social groups focused on building client’s capacity and helping them achieve their dreams/goals. I’ve hosted a D&D one shot, a parallel play gaming social meet-up, picnics, art events, and I also attend Adapt Mentorship’s Street Outreach program fortnightly.
I am a trained and experienced facilitator of Love Bites Junior and Senior and Shark Cage.
I keep my Eventbrite profile up to date with all the things I'm hosting and facilitating.

I love to learn
I spend all of my free time trying to keep a healthy balance of resting because of disability/chronic illness, and trying to keep my brain stimulated. So, I spend most of my free time reading. I LOVE learning and thinking and clients always tell me I think too much.

“For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.”
